Rita Moreno is an american actress, singer, and dancer in her career. She appeared in the famous movie, West Side Story in the year 1961. She has been active in her career for over 70 years. She also had a supporting role in the movie King and I, and the famous tv show the Electric Company on the Pbs Kids channel from 1971-1977.
Moreno had gained recognition through her dancing, singing , and acting career. Moreno had gained two awards for West Side Story, the Golden Award and Academy for Best Supporting actress. She also gained Grammy and Emmy awards such as the award for Best album for Children (The Electric Company) and Emmy award for Individual Performance in a Variety or Music Program.
